Schools in Sosua and Puerto Plata
There are quite anumber of schools on the North Coast primarily around Puerto Plata and Sosua. These are all private schools which simply means that you will have to pay a monthly or yearly fee. This fee will vary according to the school and maybe anything from a few dollars a month up to $500. Most of these schools have foriegners already attending, and even if your child does not speak Spanish initially, they should be able to integrate into the school. As with most things, it pays to visit each of the schools in your area and make your own judgement on which school would be most suitable. Posting a message on the forum may also help to get more information.
Most schools will expect you to pay for your childs uniform (if there is one) and school books.
