Cabarete on the North coast of the Dominican Republic is the place to go for kite-boarding. It boasts ideal wind and sea conditions all year round with great weather. The trade winds with thermals make for strong, consistent wind. There are plenty of places along the bay offering equipment to rent or buy and there are also some great schools with experienced instructors catering for different abilities at pretty reasonable rates.
